Canoeist is probably the world's longest running canoeing magazine, founded in 1953 as White Water Magazine. In 2003 it took the inaugural Achievement Award of the Periodical Publishers Association, a British publishing Oscar. It is non profit making and independent of canoe trade and administrative interests. Articles, items, news and other contributions are welcomed but Canoeist has never been in a position to pay for such submissions. There are no paid staff. Exclusively in PDF format, it can be downloaded free from this site. Tell us if you wish to be advised by email when future issues are published.
